More than fermented fish and meatballs

When I decided to move from Portland, Oregon, USA to Gothenburg, Sweden in 2010 I was skeptical of the food. I had been to IKEA and had witnessed meatballs served with mashed potatoes, jam, and hard bread. This made me nervous, I don't particularly like any of these items. Eight years later, I can tell you I had it all wrong. The Scandinavian food scene has exploded and the Nordic Diet rivals the Mediterranean Diet. Come eat for yourself.
